For his first encounter we are going to play an easy game.
ENCOUNTER NAME : Looking for Kirosh
DATE : October 25, 2311.
TYPE : Chillin’ (volontary)
OBJECTIVE : Find and question Dante Kirosh, a police informant, about bloody murders in the logistics area of the spaceport. These murders may be the starting point of a gang war.

Minor Failure – not very accurate informations : +0 intel for the next encounter
Major Failure – craps: -1 intel for the next encounter

Candice Feist & Sean Cooper

TURN 1
Candice & Sean cross the path of PEF1. I resolve PEF1 (p.117). It's a Criminal Element (I roll a 5+3 for LawLevel +1 for no grunts have been encountered = 9 in the LL3 column).
How many of them (p.118) = PG (player's group), so two.
I roll to generate them :
- Thief REP3-FIT3-PEP2-SAV1 / no weapon
- Ganger REP3-FIT2-PEP1-SAV3 / Pistol

PEF 1

I roll for Contact Resolution (p.126). It's a People Challenge (p.61).
Candice is PEP 4 -1d6 for being logical so I roll 3d6 for 1 success
Thief (Zora, PEP 2) = 0 success
So minor success.
We talk our way out, exchanging pleasantries.

TURN 2 (P2, PEF2)
Double but under Law Level so no more PEF.

TURN 3 (P3, PEF5)
Sean & Candice stop in front of the pub and exit the car.

TURN 4 (1/1)
Double but under Law Level so no more PEF.

TURN 5 (1/4)
PEF move first.
PEF movement Table (p.116) = pass 2d6 and roll a 4 : move closer to player’s group.
PEF is resolved (p.117): Criminal Element again (I rolled a 6+3LL=9)!

How many of them (p.118) = PG (player's group), so two.
I roll to generate them (they are  Zhuh- Zhuh but I don't have the figures yet)  :
- Ganger REP4-FIT4-PEP3-SAV2 / no
- Ganger REP5-FIT4-PEP3-SAV5 / MP

I roll for Contact Resolution (p.126). It's a People Challenge (p.61).
Candice is PEP 4 -1d6 for being logical so I roll 3d6 for 2 successes.
MZZ (the chief) is PEP3 and roll for 0 success
So minor success.
We talk our way out, exchanging plaisantries.

Candice & Sean enter the pub. Kirosh is alone at a table drinking a spacebeer.

Sean interrogates Kirosh.
He's PEP 3 +1d6 Field of expertise (gangs). I throw 4d6 for 1 success.
Kirosh throws 2d6 (PEP2) for 0 success.
Minor Success – good informations : +1 intel for the next encounter
Kirosh has given the location of the gang suspected to have committed the murders.

The encounter is a success.

AFTER THE ENCOUNTER

- RAISING FAME (p.139)
Sean’s Notoriety : +5
Candice’s Notoriety : +4

- RAISING SKILLS OR REP (p.140)
I try to raise Sean & Candice’s PEP without success.

- KEEPING IT TOGETHER (p.139)
Even if Sean Copper is the leader of a police unit I decided to roll on the Keeping it Together Table. Maybe officers of the unit can be called elsewhere for a mission.

Sean rolls as many dices as his REP for 3 successes.
Candice for 2.
Andy for 1.
Ray rolls 4 successes so he leaves for a mission. He can go back later.
Jaime for 1.
Mike for 3.

Since I rolled a voluntary encounter for the next mission, Sean will follow Kirosh's informations, gather his men and raid the gang HQ.
